a Grants Pass tradition for locals and tourists alike. Though there is little seating I am always willing to stand and eat my favorite sandwich if I have to. There is a classic feel about the building and they have not changed much over the last few decades, and for what its worth I think it has suited them well. Definitely try the incredible sandwiches but be prepared to take home a doggy bag. They have the largest portions in town! Much better than a trip to Subway!

I grew up eating these sandwiches in the 60's and they were a staple for the locals at that time. I am seldom in G.P. anymore but when I am I go to Millie's. I'm going down again soon and I will definitely be stopping in. Thanks for the years of satisfaction.

I didn't want to eat at a chain sandwich place and I happened to drive past this place so I stopped in....they serve "Grinders" ..........bread was soft, I thought it was pretty good. Certainly beats the SUBWAY type chains.... and it was certainly priced right.

Let's just say service takes a back seat here. Tried to call in an order got asked to hold - hey no problem - 10 minutes later still on hold drove to the store - walked up to their outside service window; still on hold mind u - finally get acknowledged my comment was if you're too busy to take a phone order just say so - jerk behind counter says haven't had a phone order; my response was you're still on hold with me!! His comment - too bad go somewhere else. Hey, no problem - lived here all my life plenty of other options, and u can bet I won't be recommending any of my business connections bother with your shop - when u get down to it anyone can make a sandwich - service is something that brings people back

Best foot long hamburgers in Oregon. Probably the only as well. The ladies are always too nice but it's worth it to get that tasty sandwich! Ha I have almost spent enough money in there to buy a treadmill. Which if I continue at this rate I may need one. Anywho, very delicious 12 in hamburgers.

A good solid joint! Got a pair of Sandwiches for the wife and I, a 6" turkey, and a 6" submarine, both were good! The onion and pepper mix in oil and vinegar really adds a great flavor to the sando's, and makes them stand out from the typical chain store. Nice soft bread, a good change of pace........sure, the menu board inside with the little letters kind of dates the place, they sure aren't trying to be trendy or upscale, but if you expect that after looking at the building from the outside, you need an eye exam. Good prices, and I didn't have any issue with the "service", which in my case as a takeout order was pretty easy, make my sandwiches as ordered, bag 'em up, ring me up, send me on my way..........

These are not your usual sub sandwiches. Folks weened on Subway or Jimmy Johns may think these things were made by martians. They are not and they lay waste to those chainwiches. Try any of the grinders or the barbecue cheesburger. You will not be disappointed.

Terrible service, ordered an item on the menu and was told I couldn't have it for the advertised price but I could pay more for it. After inquiring why I wasnt able to have the item for the advertised price, the toothless employee's became very aggressive while making fun of me for being upset about the "typo"... ($2 difference in price of the sandwich)

Great little independently owned sandwich joint with some super tasty and unique sandwiches, but be warned these are not like your typical sandwiches or sub shop. Approach with an empty stomach and open mind

Terrible customer service. I do not recommend going there their menu did not specify a certain sandwich could not come in a combo and they did not honor it.

Stopped here off the highway on a Saturday for lunch. Yummy sandwiches with a little twist. It seems like the BBQ sandwiches are their specialty, but we didn't realize this and ordered tuna (get it with the peppers and onions!), cheeseburger (loose meat style on a long roll), and a BLT that had mile long strips of bacon on it. All were great and the people behind the counter are sweet. If you're in a rush this may not be the place for you, but the sandwiches are worth the short wait if you're willing.

I was introduced to Millie's by husband who grew up in the area. We always have to stop in when in the area. Sandwiches are always great and the people always friendly

Must be aquired taste. We stopped off the freeway because the reviews were good. It was like going to your aunts house who is well intended but not a very good cook. My cheeseburger was a roll with ground beef and cheese, sort of like a sloppy joe hot dog. Not at all what we were hoping for. A bit pricey and no free drink refills. Must have been a fun place in about 1973.

Not the same as the old days, but still miles better than any chain sammy joint. The oil/pepper mix they drench the mounds of onions with makes this place worth stopping by whenever I'm in town. Don't really understand why they would be closed on Monday, considering the high school with open campus two blocks away. I used to go there quite often for lunch back in the halcyon days. Anyway, if you're passing through GP, or haven't been there since you moved up from Cali, check it out. It's an institution.

The homemade bread here is the reason to go! Also to support a local business. My family has been eating here for generations!

I drove past Millie's by accident and decided to give it a try for something new. The sandwiches were pretty good and are unique for the area. If you're tired of the same old Subway, definitely give them a try. They use a unique bun; I am not sure if they have it specially made, but its very close in consistency to a hotdog bun but with a much better taste. Other unique features are adding a bit of hot pepper, some secret spice, onions and a special dressing that works very well with the onions. I thought the onions would be a bit overpowering, but the mix of spice, hot pepper and dressing really put a good flavor in to the sandwich overall. They have some space to eat outside -- pleasant on a nice day.

This is a local sando shop that has been around for awhile. Millie passed away quite some time ago but it's now owned from by a little Asian woman. I had the submarine with bologna, ham, and turkey, with American cheese. Nice soft bread with some type of oil and vinegar mixture that goes on the sandwich. They wrap it in some type of thick plastic that you can just push the sandwich up to eat it pretty cool idea the only negative thing is that my plastic smelled like metal so it was hard to enjoy the sandwich. This place is much better than subway because of it's personal touch of hospitality and local feel of it. I would go here again.
